This association was established to help all the new Assamese people coming over to Chennai facing all sorts of problems like language, food, travel, lodging, medical, or any type of problem. This association also has an objective to get to know each other the Assamese families, working individuals, or students staying in Chennai. This association organizes Assamese get-togethers during Bihu festivals which includes cultural programs etc ., informal husori, singing and dancing, and food!! with all the Assamese people around to give you a homely feeling, a home away from home.
